I Come To Do Thy Will O God

Posted by Rev. Patricia Hepner on

"I come to do thy will O God." (Hebrews 10:9). God wants to pour out His Glory in us and upon us. He wants us to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. He wants us to cast out demons and raise the dead. He wants us to have so much of His power flowing through our mortal flesh, that He can do signs and wonders through us. That is our true destiny as sons and daughters of God. "Do not be afraid only believe." (Mark 5:36). Only believe, only believe... ALL things are possible; only believe. When you get rid of yourself and everything else you rely on and have only God behind you, then you have reached a place of great reinforcement. If you help yourself and dwell on yourself, and look only at yourself, you will find that the life and power of God are diminished. God wants us to cling to Him absolutely and entirely.

This is the grand plan God has for us. "ONLY BELIEVE." If we believe, then we will have perfect rest and perfect submission. God's plan for your life is more than you can ask or think. The power of God surrounds our earthly bodies, now; "only believe" that He (His power) is on you and in you. Say, "God has said it, and God cannot fail." ALL of His promises are "Yes" and "Amen" to those who believe (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Allow God to take complete control of your life! Allow Him to take complete control of every situation you are facing today. God is looking for people who will say, "I come to do thy will O God." We must choose to surrender our lives to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. We must yield our lives to complete obedience, so that God will pour upon us the full measure of His glory. God is going to have people who will say that to Him before the return of Jesus. He is going to have people who so hunger and thirst after Him and His glory that they will be willing to set aside anything in their lives that might hinder it. He is going to have people who have heard and heeded the spoken words of Jesus: "I come to do thy will O
God."

Look through the eyes of your heart; you will see this day coming. Because of this you will not want to give up, you will not want to quit; you will want to become more and more separated unto the Lord. Don't put it off another moment. Make that decision today; the time is short. Jesus is coming very soon. So bow your heart before the Lord and say, "I come to do thy will, O God." Read, study and meditate Mark 8:34-35 and let the song that you sing today be "I will not be afraid, because I believe that ALL things are possible with God !"
