Wake Up & Stop Living in Defeat!

Posted by Rev. Patricia Hepner on

Wake up, STOP living in defeat! Start living a life filled with victory. There is no defeat in a human vessel filled with faith, "This is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith." (1 John 5:4). Faith is God, in a human vessel! We must live in the light. Today we need God's blessings more than ever. As believers we need to be walking in our full inheritance. It's time to wake up, it's time to STOP allowing the devil to enter our homes, our businesses, our places of worship, and our individual lives with strife and envy. It's time we are living in the light. YOU can do it! Start watching over yourself, when you find yourself depressed or cast down, don't ignore this. Think back, to what made this start. Ask yourself, "When did I let jealousy and strife enter my heart? What started this down turn?" Look at that situation through the eyes of God and TALK to it (Mark 11:23). Say, "This situation has no power over me and I refuse to let it bring envy, strife and jealousy into my heart. I choose to yield to the love and peace and joy that is within me." Now start praising God, start singing His wonderful praises and before long your heart will be bubbling over with the love of God and you'll be singing with a pure heart. What happened? You ran the devil off! The devil hates to hear you sing praises to God out of a pure heart. regardless of your circumstances. Jesus is coming very soon, and we want Him to find us standing tall in the Spirit. We want Him to find us full of His faith, love and power... walking in the victory Jesus bought for us to walk in. We want Him to find us living in the light. We want Him to find faith-filled human vessels living in victory and living in the light. "I put on the full armor of light. I live and conduct myself honorably and becomingly as in the open light of day." (Romans 13:12,13). "The night is far gone (and) the day is almost here. Let us drop (fling away) the works and deeds of darkness and put on the (full) armor of light. Let us live and conduct ourselves honorably and becomingly as in the (open light of) day; not in reveling (carousing) and drunkenness, not in immorality, quarreling, and jealousy. But clothe yourself with the Lord Christ Jesus, the Messiah, and make no provision for (indulging ) the flesh." Read, study, and meditate on Romans 13:12-14. And live in the light. Please do this for yourself!
