How to Forecast Your Future
Have you ever been reading a book and then all of a sudden wham you have this kind of gotcha moment? As I was studying for a service, I was directed to read John 1:14; He said:
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Let’s see here “the Word became flesh”, this really opened my eyes to how God sees us as individuals. You see the word became flesh; the word became flesh; say that again, the word became flesh and dwelt among us that meant something that was written down actually came to pass. It manifested itself from the written pages of a book because somebody had said it, did you realize that people have been saying things their entire life without understanding that they are really forecasting their future. You see the children of Israel had been prophesying for thousands of years that the Messiah would come and rule the kingdom and it would dominate over the earth. This has been written in the books of the Old Testament for thousands of years, people not even understanding the words that they spoke were actually prophetic words forecasting the future of this planet. Being led by the Holy Spirit; men would speak the words spoken to them and they were inspired to proclaim these words by preaching what they heard.
So it’s easy to see that God created a place for His Son to manifest himself and direct His kingdom. Ok, let’s explain that a little bit further. You see this planet is a physical place that we live within for a period of time and at one time there was nothing here, just like a smart business owner has inspiration to create a cool product like the iPhone to help mankind, it’s easy to see that at one time the phone wasn’t here, you know seen in the earth and used by millions of people it was just a great idea that came from an unseen world, the bible says that in the beginning God created all that we see and enjoy, the undeveloped planet and then placed His crowning creation Man to manage all that was created within it. He said:
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”
If you read the entire first chapter of Genesis you will began to see a pattern of how God creates everything that he does. Verse six “And God said…”
Verse nine, “And God said…”
Verse eleven “And God said…”
Verse fourteen “And God said…”
Verse twenty “And God said…”
Verse twenty-four “And God said…”
Therefore, like Hebrews 11:3 says, “the worlds were framed by the word of God…” All things physical and those that are seen in the earth have been created by someone’s words. Things just don’t happen. Some folks want to think this so they don’t have to take responsibility for what’s going on around them. Even bad things happen to people, because they don't understand this law but you can change those things so they don’t happen to you again……
